Foreign guests visit America's Best Genetics booth at the World Pork Expo

Foreign guests at the World Pork Expo here in Des Moines, Iowa, are greeted with American hospitality at the International Hospitality Center, hosted by America’s Best Genetics in partnership with the National Pork Producers Council.

Approximately 20 members and partners of America’s Best Genetics are exhibiting jointly in the open educational and networking area, which offers cold water and soda as well as meeting spaces and a place for visitors to relax and visit about swine genetics. America’s Best Genetics works to extend the influence and exposure of the National Swine Registry and its commercial-oriented breeders as a strong and viable option for world-wide genetics.

NSR’s Director of Genetic and Technical Services, Clint Schwab, Ph.D., says the purpose of the booth is to create an area for international visitors to meet and visit with the top U.S. purebred swine breeders. “This is a great common area for our foreign visitors to relax and learn more about the genetic programs our members have, and what they can offer to international production systems.”
