Attention NJSA members, NJSA Outstanding Member of the Year scholarship applications are due Dec. 1, 2010.
Five NJSA Outstanding Member scholarships will be awarded. Two Senior NJSA members (ages 17-21) will receive $1,000 scholarships; one Intermediate NJSA member (ages 13-16) will receive a $500 scholarship; one Junior NJSA member (ages 9-12) will receive a $300 scholarship; and one novice member (age 8 and under) will receive a $200 scholarship. These scholarships will be awarded on the basis of demonstrated NJSA or livestock industry leadership, scholastic excellence, youth leadership activities and interest in the swine industry. Members may only win one scholarship in each age division of the NJSA, and ages are as of Jan. 1, 2010.

Please note that a 4-H, FFA, or person unrelated to the applicant who has knowledge of the applicant’s programs must sign the application. The completed application, including the necessary signatures, must be postmarked no later than Dec. 1, 2010, and mailed to:
