Just a few years ago, Justin S. Fix was involved with 4-H and FFA, showing livestock at the Muscatine County Fair. Today, he has a doctorate in animal science and is involved in swine genetics research both domestically and internationally.
Fix, 27, was named earlier this year to the position of genetics programs specialist with the National Swine Registry in West Lafayette, Ind. He will work to further establish and maintain the global nucleus of purebred hog genetics, as well as assist with international research development. ...
